50 Years Serving the Lord in Concord

In March 2010, the church celebrated it's 50th Anniversary of serving the Lord in Concord. We had a great service which included singing, reminiscing by a former pastor, James Pack, who served at Concord for 35 years and a message brought by our current pastor, Larry Woolley. There was a time of fellowship with former and present members, following the service.

Check back often and see all the important features and information that we will strive to provide all our church members and site visitors.

Robert Paul Cerezo Our dear member & friend, Robert Cerezo, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Robert will greatly missed by family and friends. He leaves behind his wife: Cheryl Cerezo. Children: Rachel Persaud, Paul Cerezo, Tamara Nall, Lauren Cerezo and Alena Cerezo. Grandchildren: Jenisse Persaud, Jonas Persaud, Jaevani Persaud, Jesirra Persaud and Domenic West. Siblings: Johnny Cerezo, Joe Cerezo, Margie Cerezo, Carmello Cerezo, Shirley Battle, Kathy Bernardo, Marlyne Monroe and Margo Belmares. Viewing will be Thurday, July 29th from 4-8 PM at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 4266 Thompson Drive, Concord, CA 94518. Funeral Service for Robert will be Friday, July 30th at 10:00 AM at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 4266 Thompson Drive, Concord, CA. 94518 with interment at Queen of Heaven, Lafayette to follow. In lieu of flower arrangements, the family is requesting “live” plants/flowers, so they can be added to his garden and planted in memory of him. The family is also in process of opening a Robert Cerezo Memorial Fund. For information contact family at: (925) 752-3813

Headed To Romania On July 2^nd a team is headed to Romania to work with Bro. David Manary. This is a Mac-Trips team, sponsored by FMBC Concord. The team will have 10 members consisting of members from Concord and other sister churches. The planning of this trip began about 8 months ago. Since that time we have done fund raisers, team meetings, and a lot of e-mail communications.
