Headed To Romania On July 2^nd a team is headed to Romania to work with Bro. David Manary.  This is a Mac-Trips team, sponsored by FMBC Concord.  The team will have 10 members consisting of members from Concord and other sister churches.  The planning of this trip began about 8 months ago. Since that time we have done fund raisers, team meetings, and a lot of e-mail communications.

But at this date the trip is set, tickets have been purchased, and all that is left is to pack our bags and get on the plane, well there are a few other item to take care of first.

We are still in the collection phase of the trip.  We are collecting items that are needed by the missionary to help his local ministry.  They desire games for the local orphanage, hard candy, and activity items to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  If you would like to help donate toward this trip, please send your donations to the church address on the home page, earmarked Romania 2009.

What will we do when we get there?  We are scheduled to do some maintenance work on their local church camp, maybe help with some maintenance on some church member’s homes, visit and help in a local orphanage, fellowship with the local college age group, do some sight seeing and shopping, of course, and help Bro Manary where needed.
